Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis has praised the Inter Milan forward’s decision to accept the reduced wages in respect of the financial fair play rules set by the Naples outfit.

The Inter Milan striker was sent on-loan to Naples in the last season, and the Azzurri have decided to take up the option to buy the player outright from the Nerazzurri at the end of the loan spell.
The former Lazio-man is reported to have cost the Partenopei €7.5million.
Aurelio De Laurentiis stated that apart from being professionals, footballers are also humans, and insisted that he has found Pandev to an exceptional human being.
The Napoli President stated that the Macedonia international is a good find for them, as the striker is at the peak of his career, and can contribute a lot to the Partenopei’s progress.
The Azzurri chief stated that the club should be full of gratitude for the former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan player, because of his generosity and kindness towards the Naples outfit.
Laurentiis revealed that Pandev has accepted a lower salary than he was getting at Inter Milan, and stated that by doing so, the attacker has respected the parameters that Napoli have laid out in order to abide by the financial
fair play rules.
While talking to the press, the Italian film producer said:
“Pandev is at the peak of his maturity and he will be able to give a lot to the team. The Neapolitans should have gratitude for the player because he’s been very generous, he has behaved in a gentlemanly manner. He agreed to earn
less money with us than he was netting at Inter. In doing so, he respected the parameters that the club has set up in line with the financial fair play rules.”
Pandev has reached the age of 28, and scored seven goals in the 42 appearances for the Azzurri in the 2011-12 campaign.
The striker spent two seasons with Inter Milan before moving to Napoli, and made 67 appearances for the Nerazzurri across all competitions.
