http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Goran-Pandev-c15161 thinks Inter Milan can break vulnerable Bayern Munich – UEFA Champions League
Macedonian international and Inter Milan forward, Goran Pandev, has insisted that the Nerazzurri’s are still favourites to go through to the last eight of the UEFA Champions League. Inter will take on Bayern Munich in the second leg of their Round-of-16 tie on Tuesday, the 15 of March, at the Allianz-Arena.
Inter and Bayern were also last year’s finalists and Jose Mourinho’s team came out on top that day. During the first leg of the tie, Die Bayern’s showed some positive intent and were able to beat Inter by a 1-0 margin, in a match, played on Wednesday, the 23 of February. Pandev believed that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 have the ability to beat Bayern as they have the big names which could roll over any side on its day and therefore, Bayern should be aware of Inter’s threat.
The 27-year-old said, "Bayern Munich can cause us all kinds of trouble with their attackers. However, they're vulnerable at the back and that's where we're looking to hurt them. We have to score an early goal to put them under pressure." Pandev further added, "The game will be like a final, just like last year's game in Madrid. You have to be able to replicate that great result if you play for Inter. Three reasons why Inter will beat Bayern? Well, our fans really deserve a victory, this squad is relishing the big games and of course we're Inter,"
Pandev joined Inter Milan in 2010 from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lazio-c39775 and since then, has appeared fifty-four times for the club, in which the Macedonian has scored seven times. He has also made fifty-seven international appearances to go along with twenty-three goals. He is expected to make a positive difference for Inter Milan in this pivotal match against the German heavy weights.
Inter Milan are the current UEFA Champions League holders and second in the Serie A and are looking to replicate last year’s championship win. A loss or even a draw in the second leg will put the current holders out of the competition.
