No it is not! I am assuming you received a letter stating that you had won a Consumers reward program  and a check for 3,950 dollars.  It is a scam Go to Ripoffreport.com and you can see what other people have found out.  The check is from a well known back like Wells fargo or mine from Peoples bank of conneticut but the addresses are of banks that arnt really there.  But it is a SCAM.  Hope that helps!

I got the same thing a check and my bank said its a scam to because i did direct deposit and a couple days later it put me in - 3,950 in my account and he told me it got pushed instead of a week it would clear till 2 weeks, so my bank caught it in time and new it was a some scam because he told me it happens alot. ill never do that again stupid scam artist need to go to jail so they are gonna wait till 2 weeks and see what happens if it does clear it still can be a scam so watch it ok people.
