Sergei Gorlukovich believes that Dynamo are likely to struggle without Andriy Voronin and Aleksandr Samedov this season
Former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/FC-Dinamo-Minsk-c39101 player, Sergei Gorlukovich, has shared his opinion ahead of the Russian Premier League encounter between Dynamo Moscow and Spartak Moscow at Arena Khimki on Sunday.
Gorlukovich insisted that the White-blues are not going to win the respective tie without the likes of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Aleksandr-Samedov-c4609. The aforementioned players left the Moscow-based club to join Fortuna Dusseldorf and Lokomotiv
Moscow, respectively, last month.
“I wonder why they failed to persuade Samedov and Voronin to stay and I wonder why they are expecting a good finish for the club after the departure of key players,” The Russian Cup winner was quoted as saying.
As things stand, the Louders are at the bottom spot on the league table after recording back-to-back defeats against Volga Nizhny Novgorod and Zenit St. Petersburg.
Dynamo, meanwhile, could well be on their way back home if they fail to win the European tie against Dundee United next week. The Russian outfit will play the return leg at home after drawing the first leg 2-2 against the Scottish
side.
The former Borussia Dortmund manager is of the belief that the Moscow-based club will struggle to secure a UEFA Champions League or even a UEFA Europa League qualification this season, as they made some wrong decisions in building
up their squad last season.
There is little arguing to the statement that the Dinamiki struggled to pick up points during the third league round last season. It was because Sergei Silkin, the manager, did not play Voronin and Samedov much.
Consequently, Voronin and Samedov expressed their desire to leave the Moscow-based club, and are now at their new clubs, after falling out with the manager over lack of first team action.
Dynamo’s transfer campaign had been worse for the past two years, as they sold quality players and brought in average replacements.
Though the Musora managed to sign Balazs Dzsudzsák from Anzhi Makhachkala in January, the Hungarian International failed to meet expectations of the club. The former PSV-Eindhoven man’s season was plagued with injuries, having
made just nine starts last season.
