Gossip Girl - Can anyone explain what happened on the premier of the 2nd season today?? PLEASE Help me Out!?

Th thing is that I do not live in the US and the premier may take a little longer to get here, so as a complete GG fan, I have to know, I NEED to.

And if anyone knows the dates of release in other countries..

please tell

In the second season premiere, our favourite Upper East Siders endure the Summer heat in the Hamptons. During the trip in the Hamptons, Blair meets a charming new boy hoping to make Chuck jealous, Nate gets involved in a steamy relationship and Serena questions her past relationship with Dan.

Meanwhile on the other side of town, Dan gets a job at a local library. Though things don't go according to plan.

Nate is having an affair with an older married woman. Jenny apologized to Eric and they're fine now. Dan and Serena got back together at the end of the episode. Blair is dating a British guy to make Chuck jealous, which he is. Plus in the beginning of the episode Nate and Serena were pretending to go out with each other so no one would find out about his affair. pretty much covered everything, hope it helps.

i dont want to give it away.... but basically.....

nate and serena have been pretending to go out to throw everyone off. they pretend so that everyone thinks serena is over dan and so that everyone will be distracted from the fact that nate is actually hooking up with a married woman!

jenny works at a fasion designing place as a intern and her boss ignores her and treats her horribly. she doubts jenny's dress design and rubs it in her face that jenny wont be able to attend the exclusive "white party". jenny makes up with an old friend and goes to the white party with him only to show up her boss.

at the white party serena and nate make nate's married girlfriend jealous, nate and his girlfriend hook up in a bathroom.

all summer blair was in another country by herself because at the end of  last season chuck stood her up. she got a fake "boyfriend" named "james" to make chuck jealous. she shows him off for chuck. At the white party james learns of her just using him. Blair also learns something about "james". he is actually a lord from england and has been lying about his identity to blair.

at the end of the white party chuck has a chance to get blair back and he blows it by not telling her the "three words" blair wants to hear.

dan blows his writing internship because he is really distracted by his breakup with Serena. He goes to the hamptons (which is where all of this drama is occuring including the white party) and goes to the white party to find serena. him and serena have a rekindling kiss. They later meet up at the beach and appear to now be back together.
