i was wondering where i could buy gossip girl season 1 and how much it costs=]

It is available at just about any store that sells DVDs (Wal-Mart, Target, Best Buy, etc).  The average price is somewhere around $40-60 so I would shop around to see where you can get it cheapest.  If you can wait long enough, most stores will eventually have it on sale at some point for nearly half price.  My wife and I buy TV shows on DVD all the time and Best Buy and Amazon usually have sales every few months where they sell TV show DVDs that are normally $40-50 for as little as $15-20.  Amazon does have the first season on sale for $37 right now:
