  1. My understanding is that if you get 6 points in the first 2 years of driving after passing your test, you lose your licence, you get a ban (varies with the offence) and have to take a test froms scratch.

I think you will have high insurance costs in future as fiorst companies dont like people who have been nbanned, and second, they really don't like people who drive uninsured.

I am sure you will think you have had bad luck, but actually think how it woudl have been if you were caught after hitting someone when you might also be charged with causing death by danmgerous driving and uninsured.  Jail for sure then.

If the costs of insurance put you off getting insured in future, just remember that ytou are lilkely to be caught again as there is so much automatic number plate recognition, and if you come up for a second time on uninsured driving you will really get the book thrown.  It is tough but that is because driving uninsured is a bad thing to do.

The sure thing is that DVLA will let you know what is going to happen!  May be time to buy a bus pass or a bike.

  2. hope so anyone who drives ilegally should be done by the full arm of the law if you want to do stupid things like that then you should shoulder the responsability of being done and be prepared for the outcome in future get it insured as the mot and tax is null and void what if you hit another  car what then you'll most probably do a runner leaving an innocent man to pick up the pieces get a brain and think before you drive again uninsured in future

  3. yes iam afraid so you are only aload 6 points for two years of driving , so you will have to do theory and practical test again ,when you pass next time you will have points on your licence and driving with no insurance will gain you more

  4. STUPID BOY

  5. You could/should be suspended until your 21.  Your the type of people that makes us legal folks pay high insurance rates.  Get off the road until you wise up.

  6. simple answer is yes,you will have to resit your test...its unfair but they do it for a reason...like driving with no insurance!....i doubt you'll be doing that again,am i right?..yes?..

  7. I think you should,  4 you are an idiot .  find out what happens when you cause an accident with no insurance-to you and anyone else, or their property.

  8. Hi Chris! short answer is yes. However, this should have been explained to you at the time of the offence, and it may not end there. If you were driving, say your Dad's car,  or a friends.. then he has committed an offence, by allowing you to drive without  insurance, and he to may be charged ... He /she  could claim they didn't know you had taken the car! in that case you could be charged  with  "taking without consent" So you have leaned a  hard lesson Chris, take it all on your shoulders Lad .. and stay legal its cheaper in the long run......

  9. Yea thank god, one less idiot on the roads for us LEGAL drivers to worry about! hey what happens if you knock a child over with no insurance, oh you wouldnt think of those implications would you! they should lock you up and throw away the key.

  10. If it was in the UK, and you are inexperienced. (less than two years), and you get 6 or more points, your licence is revoked, and you have to reapply for it. When you get the new licence, it will be a provisional licence and the points will be on it. You will have to apply for another driving test and cannot drive unaccompanied until you pass the test. Once you have passed the test, the difficulties start. You will need insurance. If you drive without it, you will only go through the same process again and may get a more severe penalty next time for repeating the offence. When you come to get insurance, the problems really start as you will struggle to find an insurer willing to take on a new driver with 6 points, and if you do find one, it wont be cheap.

I understand that insurance is expensive for new drivers, but these days the police can tell straight away if you have no insurance as they have computers in the car that are linked to a database, so it is not something you will get away with. You have found that when you apply for insurance now that it will be a lot more expensive than it was before because of the points, so that shows that it isn't worth driving without insurance.

  11. that's what you get for being a dumb ***.if you get any more then  6points in the 1st  2years of you getting your licence  then they will just take it off you .and make you take your test all over again. and they may even give you a Big Fine

it would of been cheaper to get insurance.
