  1. Yes, but you will have to wait a while...

Here's a  list of my  favorites for those painful first days (or the days after an adjustment).

    - Popsicle

    - pudding

    - mashed banana

    - mashed potatoes

    - tomato soup

    - smoothie

    -Meatloaf or meatballs

    -Tuna, chicken, or egg salad

-Lunch meat (plain, not in a sandwich -- sandwiches can be too hard to bite)

    -Soup

    -Cheese slices

    -Cooked eggs

    -French toast, pancakes, waffles

-Soft cooked meat (pot roast, roasted chicken, etc)

    -Baked or broiled fish

-Non-crusty bread without seeds or chunks

-Saltine crackers (they crumble on the roof of your mouth!)

    -Cottage cheese

    -Yogurt

-Cereal that gets soggy in milk

    -Oatmeal or hot cereals

-Ice cream and cake (hey, what the h**l, treat yourself! But remember, no nuts!)

    Licorice

    Sugar Daddies

    Toffee

    Caramels

    Starburst

    2.Hard foods

    Hard taco shells

    French bread crust/rolls

    Corn on the cob

Apples and carrots (unless cut into small pieces)

    Bagels

    Chips

    Jolly Ranchers

    Pizza crust

    Uncooked carrots (unless cut)

    3.Sugur foods (Minimize these foods)

    Cake

    Ice Cream

    Cookies

  4. i just got my braces off after wearing them for 5 years.

i probably broke every "rule" in that time and never lost a bracket.

so you can eat pretty much anything, but don't bite hard candy or the seeds in popcorn and you should be ok

  5. lol yeah , the first 3 weeks are the toughest but then u just kinda feel like ur same old self and u can eat anything u want. but still things like salads and spinache and stuff like that are a pain in the but coz you''ll have to floce and brush everytime u eat em . i only got a rotainer coz i only had one crooked tooth but my frnd wears braces and i know how u feel

  6. lol Yes you can eat hard food in a few days so panic over haha. I would eat:

    yogurts

    smoothies

    mashed potatoes

    and all soft stuff.

That is the easy bit. The hard bit is the stuff your not supposed to eat:

    Hard candy

    Caramel

    Taffy

    Hard bread crusts

    Pizza crust

    Hard nuts

    Tacos

    Tortilla chips

    Corn Nuts

    Popcorn

    Jerky

    Corn on the cob

    Dried fruit

    Cut these into bite-sized pieces:

    Bagels

    Apples

    Raw carrots

    Raw celery

    Avoid chewing:

    Gum

    Ice

    Bones

Be aware of the hidden sugar in:

    Jelly

    Syrup

    Honey

    Sugared cereals

    Breakfast rolls

    Catsup

    Desserts

    Sodas

Brush your teeth immediately after eating sweets. If you are unable to brush, rinse your mouth with water.

    Hope i helped : o )
