Got Green spirit?

Question

As our planet Earth gets more and more polluted everyday, I think we really have to get down with actions to reduce waste and carbon dioxide which is contributing a great load to Global Warming. Do you have any creative green ideas that others can use to help out by doing daily activities?

Which part of the world is getting more and more polluted everyday? Because it's not the US.

Our drinking water is cleaner than it was thirty years ago when I was a kid. Our highways have cleaning crews that you never saw thirty years ago. Our gasoline is lead free, which it wasn't thirty years ago. Our cars have catalytic converters on them, which they didn't have thirty years ago.

When I was a kid, do you have any idea how many cars drove around belching black smoke? The only recycling going on was glass soda bottles. Yes, soda use to come in a glass bottle.

The US has fewer and fewer factories polluting the air we breath. So it can be said the US is getting cleaner and cleaner.

So where is the problem? Russia, China, South America, India, Middle East, etc... What are you going to do to clean them up?

"Green Spirit" won't do it. Those countries/continents don't care, they're too busy trying to drag themselves out of third world status.

It's nice to live in a country that has so much money and freedom that we can afford the time to have "Green Spirit." America is great.

DONT TAKE 45 MINUTE SHOWERS

I ONLY WASH MY CLOTHES IN COLD WATER

TURN OFF LIGHTS WHEN YOUR NOT IN THE ROOM

DONT ORDER STUFF (OR AT LEAST AS MUCH) ONLINE (DELIVERY TRUCKS)

DONT THROW OLD CELL PHONES IN THE GARBAGE (RECYCLE THEM)

RECYCLE EVERYTHING ELSE THATS RECYCLABLE

WALK OR CAR-POOL TO WORK

I' am going green. So how about we recycle, drive hybrids, and grow are own food. That I' am doing but going Green dosen't have to be extreme, but getting started sometimes does.

I recycle at school, turn of the lights when not in that room, take quick showers.

I'd stop swimming......There are starving countries that need the water more.  How could you swim knowing some child in another country will never know what it's like to wear a speedo.......Or worse yet, sit on a tall chair and twirl a whistle all summer long as they get a copper tan.
