Got a .22 Cal Air Rifle, loaded a pellet, pulled the trigger,felt the pressure but the pellet is still loaded?

Used RWS .22 Pest Control pellets.

  1. Sounds like you have a "jam".

    Unload the rifle, make sure it is not charged and the safety is "on".

    Shine a small flashlight down the barrell. You should see the light at the breech area of the rfile where you load it. You may need to buy/borrow a .22 caliber rifle cleaning rod. Brass or plastic coated steel. Run the rod through the barrell to be sure it is clear of any jammed pellets.


  2. Are you sure that particular rifle is suited for those pellets. Sounds like you have a jam.
