Got a bill from telemarketer?

Hi all,

My sis got the call from telemarketer.

They offer her $50 credit for her to make a call to other countries.

She used that $50 and now she got the bill from them.

Now, she's asking me what are the choices she has?

I've never deal with telemarketer before, so any advices, suggestions or comments will be very helpful.

Emy's response is right on.  Unfortunately, it's a $50 lesson that there are no freebies out there, especially when strangers come calling.

pay the bill, or ruin her credit. oh, and tell her not to trust or talk to telemarketers anymore.

Contest it.  It will then go to collections and contest it with them as well.  Since the dispute is under $100.00 it will not affect her credit.
