  1. if it is all the coils more than likely it is the stator or power packs, check the ground first- the easiest and cheapest. if it is not a grounding issue then check the stator. Get a book for your motor it will tell you what the ohms reading ahould be for the stator, power pack and trigger assembly, you will need a dva meter, or adapter for a fluke meter, might be worth it to take it to a mech that has the tools, he could test all that in about 1 hr then you could replace the parts..they are a little pricey so be warned

  2. It is best to start at power pack. If you have the voltages coming in from the stator and also the voltages coming in from the trigger then head toward your coils if you have the stator voltages coming out of the power pack. It is VERY VERY VERY rare for all the coils to go out. If you dont have the voltage coming in head toward stator and trigger.

  3. It definitely sounds like the power pack. All your coils wouldn't go at once. Try cranking the motor and us a tester on the side of the power pack coming out of motor. If you have power there it is your power pack. To check further if power is on incoming side then check to see if you have power going out to the coils on the other side. If no power on coils side definitely replace power pack. It is very simple to fix hopefully this is your problem. Good Luck!!

  4. Check the continuity of the coils and immediately you will know if they are good or not.  Sounds like the problem lies elsewhere.  Check continuity on the Stator, and also the rectifier.  Good luck.
