Got a grant from my university, will I have to pay it back?

I was just wondering, once you recieve a grant you do not have to pay it back if you finish school, am I correct? I just recieved a 7,000$ grant and want to make sure I don't have to pay it back when I finish school?

a grant is a gift not a loan, You will not have to pay it back.

You do not pay grants back unless you withdraw in the middle of a term, or sometimes if you fail your classes.
