  1. Hi,

Remember to say "hi how can i help you today", and smiling is

    paramount.

    Regards...

    CoffeeBean

  2. 1.)Be polite toward customers, and try to think like them. Don't serve them anything you wouldn't eat (as far as cleanliness and quality). Be friendly, cheerful, and "go the extra mile". You can do this by carrying a tray to someone's table if their arms are full or they're on crutches, spending a few minutes looking for a "certain" toy, etc.Customers really appreciate it, and it will keep them coming back.

2.) Stir people's coffee when they get sugar in it. I know this sounds simple, but so many McD's crew don't do that.

3.) Don't let customers push you around. They will try to, but don't let them!! And don't take them personally. Some people will try to dump all their life's frustrations and anger on you because they got the wrong burger. DON'T take it personally, whatever you do!!!

4.)If you want to get promoted, then work hard, show up for you shifts, learn as much as you can about your job, and do any little extra things that you can.

5.) Ummm...when you're making fries, be aggressive!! Most new people handle the fries like delicate china-but they're not! Show those fries who's boss!!

6.) Don't fill sundaes so full that they overflow...=)

7.)Be friendly with the other crew, but remember that customers come first. Don't stand around talking to a crew while a customer is waiting to be served.

Ummm...yah, that's about it. Some of those things seem pretty simple, but they are what separate an amazing crew member from a mediocre one.

  3. just don't eat the food.  it will catch up to u at a point

  4. Don't put so much coffee in the iced coffee's..WHOOO!!!

  5. Get shoes that you *only* wear at work; they'll get greasy.

McD's is not bad as a starting job; just don't stay there too long.  And honestly, I like the food even if it's not very healthy.  :)

  6. Don't eat the food

  7. Make sure the shoes are fitting right, you will be on your feet all day, and you do not want to get blisters. Remember to be courteous, to all customers and co-workers alike. Bring a watch or cell phone that has the time on it, so your not late from breaks. In a while, you be able to tell when your breaks are about over, but not in the beginning. DO not try to be as fast as your co workers, speed will come in time, just try to relax and learn the rules, policies and procedures. Get to know your co workers they will help you out, and some may be your friends in time. They can also give you tips, let you know the cool managers and not so cool ones. Make sure to wear a clean uniform everyday! if u only get issued one or 2 uniforms, this may be a lot of laundry doing. so if you go to a laundry mat or else have to pay money for load of laundry, try to think of an alternative, suck as using a friends washer or dryer. Try to have fun, but take the job seriously! Fast food is starting to get the respect it deserves ( many much more respected careers and many universities look for fast food employment), it it will cost you later if you quit. you will do fine and good luck!

  8. it's an good job as a first job or last resort, dont stay there too long. you get sick of it, it's too greasy unless your only front counter. and dont eat the food lol you'll gain weigh without realising

  9. Here is my tip for u:

    Just enjoy your job!!!

    Congrats by the way...

  10. don't touch your face

you will become a crater face
