  1. Both have their advantages and disadvantages.

You need to say where in UK.

London is obviously much bigger and a great place to experience, but it depends on what salary you've been offered.

If you're comparing a provincial town with Dublin then, I'd say there isn't much difference in size and facilities, but my preference would be for Dublin.

  2. Dublin would be on the top of my list.

  3. Dublin (or Ireland) people are friendly, non-nationals are very welcome, good craic, decent wages, a lot of jobs, great sites to see arounf Ireland.

However there nothing cheap, Rip off, Ireland

  4. stay with the uk havent you heard what jobs we got we need for ourselves what ever left of them

  5. dublin is a much more expensive place to live. depends where in the uk? if its london then thats expensive too!!

  6. go to dublin.

  7. where is the UK job? Its a huge place! Some places like Edinburgh, parts of London, Cardiff are fantastic - other places not so good. Dublin is lovely though....

  8. UK isn't much cop - I'd stay well clear. Go to Dublin.

  9. I have written this on another answer I gave: the UK disadvantages:

"Country where everything is a rip-off, life is so difficult, highly intrusive government where every step you take is followed by CCTV cameras, speed cameras, etc. You have to bed to open a bank account. Horrible place to grow children, horrible TV, cigarette-alcohol-greasy food culture. 35 years paying for a mortgage. VIOLENCE. Is that what you want for your life and your family's? I think Ireland is bad enough and dying to leave to go to some country in Europe. The only good thing about UK and Ireland is jobs and money"

    Now, comparing Ireland and UK:

UK is better served when it comes to supermarket, choice for shopping, better availability of goods, more competition in almost every sector: mobile phones, banks, TV and telecom companies, etc.

Ireland is cheaper than UK, but of course, don't compare Dublin with say... Belfast, of course Belfast is cheaper. Dublin is only cheaper than London, I think. Life is quieter, we have the Euro, the people are nicer and less racist. It's hard to find nice accommodation, everybody live in houses, and if you are used to appartment buildings like, you'll be very disappointed. I am Brazilian, live in Ireland for over 9 years, am dying to move somewhere in the continent, but definitely wouldn't go to the UK.

    Hope that helps.

  10. I would go for the Dublin job, get out of this ruddy country which is going to the dogs mate.
