SOLILOQUY

A life of solitude I lead,

no friends or neighbours do I need

to pester me with 'good intent'

and spew forth words that are not meant.

So I'll just keep to my own ways,

while slowly pass the endless days;

and yet...I cannot help but feel,

as by my bed each night I kneel

in prayer to the good Lord above,

it must be nice to know...true love!
