its very rare that hpt can detect pregnancy before periods.if u did all the right things then u might be pregnant.but u must wait atleast 7 days after a missed period to do a hpt.then also there is little chance that hpt can pick up.the best u can do is get a blood test dont after 7 days of missed periods becz that will confirm it for sure.all the best & baby dust to u.

you sure can, with my first child i didnt get a bfp untill i was 7 days late so dont worry, your still in with a chance fingers crossed x

I'm in the same boat as you. I just got a negative HPT this morning and my period is due the 2nd. BUCKETS full of baby dust to us!!!!!
