  1. Not to get your hopes up too soon, but OPKs can be used as HPTs... OPKs turn positive when ovulating AND when pregnant.  You may have conceived this month.  I would take a HPT to see if you are pregnant.  Otherwise, you may have ovulated twice.  This does happen, but it's rare.  I do think you may be pregnant.  If this is what you have been hoping for... good luck!

  2. Well they say you can ovulate twice a cycle... I think its rare but not unheard of. I use that site and i really like it. Just go as if you are... what does it hurt? As well maybe implantation???  I hear that your opks can get darker if you are going to have a BFP on HPT. I had some close to it before I started my period... never know...

  3. It says on the fertilityfriend website that the first opk probably means you are about to ovulate and the last one (if you get more than one) means that you already ovulated.  if you have multiple ovulation, it usually occurs within 24 hours.  also, looking at your chart, it looks as if you ovulated on cd 18 the last time.

you can get multiple positive ovulation tests.  they aren't an exact science.  here is my chart, just so you can see.

the only way you can really tell is by a sustained thermal shift.  after a few cycles, you should be able to tell a pattern and predict your most fertile days easier.

lots of baby dust to you!

  4. Now I am certainly no expert but I have done much research and reading on the whole fertility/TTC subject.  Sometimes our body will gear up to ovulate (hence a + opk) and then for whatever reason (stress, illness etc ....) your body doesn't release the egg.  THEN, your body will go through the whole ovulation process again a little later in the cycle.  It's possible this is why you got a +opk so early in your cycle, and then maybe for some reason your body decided it wasn't time and is now going to try again.   I agree with the whole thermal shift.  I use opk's to help me prepare for ovulation, but I don't count on them.  It's only after I've gotten my temp spike after ovulation am I SURE that ovulation has taken place.  You can see a definite thermal spike on my chart here :: http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/20c8... Using the two together it's a win win.  As long as your BDing the same day and the following 2 after getting a + opk, no matter when and/or how many times in your cycle, you should have your bases covered.
