Got a question about Yahoo Fantasy Football (Have a friend who can't make the online draft)?

I have a friend who might not be able to do the live draft so I have two questions:

1.) Isn't there a way on there that he can set a draft order before the draft and when then for the draft it automatically picks the order in which he has chosen his players? Say example he has LT as number one, but he is already chosen so it goes to his next pick he wants?

2.) If you can't do this, is there a way I can get on my same laptop or computer and log on to his name in a seperate window while I am drafting my team for him? Or get on a whole another computer/laptop and do it?

  1. Jreb got your first question.  As for your second question I have drafted for two people before but I actually had two seperate browser programs on one computer that allowed my to do it (Internet Explorer and Fire Fox).  Earlier this year I was able to draft for two baseball teams by logging in under one name and pulling up the draft page, leaving that page displayed and closing the log on page and going back in and signing on under the second ID and pulling up the draft page under the second name.  I dont think yahoo times you out from the draft page, at least they didnt do it to me during a 16 round draft.

  2. 1) Yes, you can pre-rank in Yahoo and the computer will follow those rankings. It can be a dangerous  way of doing it as you don't know how other people will draft. You could wind up with multiple players at one position and none at another for example.

    2) With enough power, you should be able to open a separate window and draft for him or as you said a different computer. You just need his id and pw.

Then you could let the computer auto draft according to the Yahoo rankings.

    Good luck. Have fun.
