  1. NOPE

  2. Remote Wire.  This cable will turn on the amp when there is 12 volts present.

If you have an aftermarket stereo, there should be a cable (usually blue), on the rear of the stereo labeled Remote, or REM.  Wire this cable to the REM port on the amp, and whenever you turn on your stereo, the amp will turn on, and whenever you turn the stereo of, the amp will turn off.  Pretty simple.

** It's best to use a relay whenever running remote wires, to prevent excess current draw that can damage car components. **

If you don't have an aftermarket stereo, then there are several ways to wire in this cable.  The easiest is to wire it into the ACC wire on the ignition.  This will cause the amp to switch on when you turn on the car.  The only downside is that the amp will be on, even when your stereo is off.  The way to fix that is to install a small switch in-line, which will allow you to control the amp from the front seat.

If you have a premium sound system (Bose, Infinity, Mansoon, Mach, JBL, H/K), then there is usually a remote lead behind your stock stereo, but it takes a little foot work to find.

You can also attach this to the power antenna connection on some stock stereos, but check the state of this cable during CD playback first. Some only have power during radio use, and turn off for cassette and CD.
