Got a range cooker that has stopped working, the fan oven wont work without the timer.?

Question

have a range cooker, make - leisure cookmaster100,

it is a dual cooker, ie gas hob electris fan oven, conventional oven and grill

it looks like the timer has gone

this means that the fan oven wont work,

the rest of the cooker ok ie grill and hob working,

so i know its not the fuse cause the rest of the cooker is working

phone the company, it is going to cost maybe £200 pounds,

does anyone know where i can get someone to help me save some money, it just seems a huge amount of money,

cooker only cost £800

1/4 the price to fix the timer!!!

i live in manchester if anyone can help

could be a simple fuse problem or a shorted wire.  i would talk to a general repairman (jack of all trades) before I forked out that kind of money.
