Got a ticket in new york state 2 years ago and need Help

My boyfriend got a speeding ticket in new york almost two years ago, since then he hasn't crosses the border from Canada to the united states, he received a letter for guilty or not guilty, he pleaded guilty, i don't know why he didn't just pay the ticket the police gave him but some how its been lost, So not receiving anything after the guilty plea, he and his parents called and nothing,

Let me correct myself

the police man gave him a paper to mail a plea or innocent or guilty, which he mailed it, he just said that he didn't get a paper to pay anything, which i don't understand i wasn't there.

So after mailing and calling, they said that there is not record, he got the ticket just around Albany, Can some one help us find a number to call a police station or do we have to call the border, because this is most likely adding up.Can some one give us a contact number or a site, but i don't understand how come nothing was mailed, because even if it got lost wouldn't they mail the ticket again or the plea paper

If your boyfriend can recall the city he was pulled over in, research the county and call the courthouse there.  Was it a NY state trooper?

And type in the info, like your boyfriends name and it should show any type of misdemeanor he was 'charged' with, when it was, the plea he gave and how much he owes if anything.  Worse case scenario, you drive through that area, get pulled over, find out you have a warrant out and they take you to the police station and you either do time in county jail or pay the bail which is the amount of the ticket.

You need to contact the court of record in which the ticket was issued for or contact the issuing police agency.    There is a possibility that there may be a "bench warrent" issued for your BF's arrest if cought here in NY State.
