Got an American Wii Fit as a gift but have a UK console, will the board work?

I know the game won't and also I am heading to Australia in a week will taking my console be wise? will the games work on it?

it should the only thing thats different is the plug for the console

Australia is PAL.

UK is PAL.

If the games have further region coding then no it won't work. If the games are just separated by PAL/NTSC, then it should work.

The board should work.

The American Balance Board should work with the UK Wii, BUT the software won't I'm afraid.
