I got a shoulder injury since December 2007. My shoulder injury was from lifting and moving boxes and files around. I did not fall or anything, just got really damaged from moving big folders with documents over my head.

Anyways, i never told the boss. And there's no point , now i have to live with it but i'm sad cause i'll never be normal again. and no i dont do surgeries.

At first it was so painful everyday. Now it's less pain , but depends on the day. But like the past two days i had almost no pain. Except if i do movements such as pushups or whatever, i know it will hurt. So i cant do pushups or weights ever again, i guess.

I'm 28 year old male. I feel so limited now, and i cant be athletic how i used to be before. Is there some hope for healing even though now it's been like 9 months since the injury. Or do i have to live forever taking pain meds and massage and using special pain rubbing cream

  1. lesson learned.  anytime you get injured at work you need to tell your supervisor so that he can send you for a workman's comp claim.  it's too late now to file a claim.  if you have insurance, go to the doctor and get it checked out.  the doctor will probably advise physical therepy. if it's very serious (and it doesn't sound like it is) he may suggest surgery.  but, go to the doctor and get some help.

  2. your injury should have been reported when it happened.  go to the doctor now & get a referral for physical therapy.  it will help with mobility & pain management.  there are other ways to be active without risk of further injury.

    good luck!

  3. you should have went to the doctor!!!! you still have time. make stuffs happen, stop whining!!!! exercise it a little everyday.

  4. You "don't do surgeries" ?

Riiiiight. Well if you're not going to do something that will help you, stop bitching then.
