Got an old Allis Chalmers 303 baler for sale?

I live in south central Illinois and need the PTO driveline for an old Allis Chalmers 303 baler. It's a 3 point driveline and the carrier bearing assembly is what I really need but would like to buy the whole driveline shaft assembly if it is in good condition or maybe buy the entire baler for parts. I know how antiquated the 303 is so please don't tell me to buy a modern age baler because I just don't have access to enough acreage to make that expense worthwhile. Although, because used parts for the 443 are still fairly easy to find, I would consider buying the slightly less antiquated 443 if it is in real good condition and reasonably priced.

  2. find an industrial bearing supply around you and they should stock it.if i remember right Allis Chalmers,Minneapolis Moline and John Deere all used the same size pto shafts so it should be easy to find.if you want to go new find a truck driveshaft shop in your area and have one custom made.i have a Minneapolis Moline propane 445 with an orchard front axle.

  3. If I were you, I would go to the "science and mathmatics" category, then under that is "agriculture" where you might get the answer you are looking for.

Sorry I couldn't be more help.
