  1. Yeah like czarl said, there's not much you can do at your age apart from paper rounds and perhaps try your local florist - they're quite good for offering small jobs to under 16s. Or a small shop like a greengrocer's or a newsagents. Try everything you can! But set your sights low - it's gonna be menial work at 13 I'm afraid!

  2. You could volunteer as a candy striper at your local hospital

    Paper Girl

    Dog Walker

    Mow lawns

    Shovel Snow

Babysit-which you can enquire babysitting courses at your local Red Cross

There is not much you can do until you are 14.Good luck!!

  3. washing the cars for yr neighbours. U use their water, all u need is a bucket, a sponge and some car shampoo.

  4.   You can babysit or walk peoples dogs or be creative and make tie dye t shirts  or other arts qand crafts and sell them. good luck

  5. you could cook chocolate pancakes and then sell them among your  friends and family.

  6. You can wash cars, baby sit, do lawn work, pull weeds, do trash removal. I know a man, and his family who were very down on their luck. His daughters felt very bad for their dad, who had lost the family business to a fire. The girls were 9, and 11 at the time. They decided to do the old fashioned lemonade stand, with their moms help, and recipe. After one day they made $8 dollars, $5 the next, and gave the money to their parents. Pretty humble beginning, though the girls thought it was a lot of money. Soon they had people stopping by after work, moms bringing their kids during the day, a day care school stopped by fairly regularly. Anyway, their parents decided to try a Saturday market near their home. It was fairly successful. Then they went to the state fair, even more successful. In about 3.5 years they have grown to over a $250,000 per year business(they go to several state fairs each year now), all because those girls wanted to help their parents.

  7. Paper girl?

  8. Child labor laws prohibit minors from working. That's just the government and its purpose is to protect kids from being exploited. Hey if you really want to work, move to china or mexico. This doesn't mean that you can't make money. You can set up your own business like others teens and tweens have over the years, some of them being quite successful. Your local library has a number of books that can help you like "Fast Cash for Kids" by Bonnie & Noel Drew. Ask for it. There are traditional teen jobs like babysitting and yard/house work but if you think about it, you're not limited to that kind of thing. You can sell products and/or provide services that people need. What you do depends on what you can do, what you enjoy doing and what people are willing to pay for. You will make more money working for yourself than for an employer so you have that edge. Discover and use your talents, time and equipment to build a reputable and profitable business. How about the following types of things:

Puppet Shows or Story Time for Younger Kids

Recycling Center for bottles, cans, paper, etc.

Copyright your own design (t-shirts, magnets, bumper stickers)

Furniture Refinishing (turn trash to treasure)

    Sell books on specific topics

    Write a book or newsletter

Teach people to do things you enjoy (computers?)

Make and Sell Crafts (garden flags, jewelry, ceramics)

Host Yard Sales for busy neighbors

    Iron Clothes and/or do laundry

Sell energy light bulbs or programmable thermostats

The list goes on and on but short of selling alcohol, tobacco and firearms you are pretty much free to sell all kinds of products. Get your parents on board to help you. Create a business with integrity and your customers will soon find you.

There've been some pretty profitable businesses at home so yours can be also... Dell Computers, Microsoft, Ebay, Coca Cola, and even Trump Corporation all began small and began at home. Find and need and fill it.

  9. as a 13 yeah old, there's not much you can do. Your best hope at getting a job is working at your local grocery store either bagging groceries or pushing carts... yeah, i know, it doesn't sound fun, but i'm right there with you in age and that's what i'm doing

  10. baby sitting, walking dogs, paper girl not much else for a 13 year old
