Got any party ideas for my sweet 16th?

ok, i need some sweet 16 party ideas.... got any?? And i want it to be a boys and girls party but i only have 1 guy friend......how do i make more??? How do i start a conversation without sounding like a freak?? lol

You could do a 50s party. Lots of stuff on the internet for that! Poodle skirts, rolled up jeans, saddle oxfords with bobby socks, white blouses with neck scarves, old fashioned music mixed with the new.

What about a Salsa party? Mexican party, with a big pinata and all.

Hawaiian, best if you have access to a pool.

I think a neat idea is going with the year you were born and doing something about that year.

And if your friend, the boy, wants to help, tell him to get other boys to come to the party.

u can have a masquerade party and if u want to invite more boys try to have lots of food and just to invite boys maybe invite a pop singer or someone dressed as the latest pop singer who can sing just like a real pop singer my cousin did her party was the best boys who she didn't even  came and became her friends

Invite all your classmates.I am sure in this way u'll be having more boys.and tell all ur girl friends to invite all there friends too.theme can be some what musical kinda it can include rock,pop,,jazz,country,romantic............ do ask ur friends to bring there music instruments if they know how to play it.and a karaoke too can be involved in this theme.do involve all ur family members to help u out in this way they'll make ur party rocking and u'll be able to spend time with ur family on ur 16th birthday.

Be confident. walk up to any guy at school that you want to come, and just say - hey guys, im having this gathering at my place for my birthday,  wanna come?  you shoulD! and then write down your number on some paper and give it to them with the times. If you want to give out formal invitations, go for it, but dont make them too formal. if you want, just write out a little something on a scrap of paper, and ask them to tell you if they can come. If it does have a theme, like the vegas nights thing, let them know this too. Whats the budget for the party? if you are willling to spend a lot of money, you could hire a hall or club for the night to make it big and more appealing. if its a home thing, its best to go out and buy some really cool decorations - dont just hang stuff sthat youve had since your third birthday. Just keep telling EVERYONE about it untill the peple who werent invited feel like they want to go to. if you can, invite them at the last minute! but this will ensure that the people who are invited will want to be there!!!

Try a crazy theme that no one else would think of.  Vegas night is good.  But to invite boys just drop the hint in the hallway at school or something and tell them "oh yeah you should come if you can" or something like that"

OMG! I only had one guy at my 16th as well! How weird.

Anyway, I did Friday the 13th becuase my birthday was on Friday the 13th in October (i had mine about 2 years ago). Parties that involve getting dressed up scary are usually fun and easy to dress up for, lots of black and witch hats. Someone came to mine with a chainsaw and hockey mask. Scary.

I reckon you should have a pirate party because I love pirates and you can get so many pirate party gear, well, in south australia you can.
