We flew back from SF on Friday, arriving home at 4pm after an 11 hour flight. She's not had a full night's sleep since then and slept 8pm-midnight last night and then finally succomed to sleep again at 5.30am. What now?

  1. Try to get her sleep back on schedule, I suggest taking her out during the day, be active, then come back throw on a movie she likes, eat some food, sleep. soon  she will get back in to sleep schedule.

  2. Be easy.  Jet Lag is hard on anyone.  Unless you're a frequent flyer, call it a mediocre experience.  No probs here...  Just pull yourself out of there.

  3. Don't let her sleep all morning! Keep her awake and going today. With a nap in the afternoon, and a slightly early bedtime if you need to. Then you can get her back on track by a few minutes each day.

If you let her change her schedule it will be much more difficult to get her back on it than it would be to just keep a cranky tired toddler busy and awake for one day!

  4. Wake her up, now!!   Keep her very busy this morning, give her a small nap about 12:30-1:00 for about one hour.  Thn by 8:00-9:00 pm she should be tired again!  If she is not tired by 9:00 try nyquil, JUST KIDDING!
