Got back my lost Indian Passport, but already applied for a new.?

I lost my Indian passport a month back, I did inform the nearest Police station and made a FIR. After that I applied for reissue of a new passport submitting the required document for lost passport.

I would like to know whether it is possible to revoke the reissue application form and use my old passport.

I think you could just go to your country's embassy and explain what happened. They will probably staple the old and new pasport together and stamp a "not valid"(or something like that) stamp in your old one so your new one will be the one you use..

Just call your embassy.
