Got e-mail from yahoo!mail informing i had won 300,000 pounds in march yahoo! Internet lottery is this legit?

this e-mail had all the usual yahoo logos etc telling me what to do to claim also had a batch number, lotto number and winning number that was to be used in comunicating re the claim the yahoo claim contact e-mail address is grace_adamss1@yahoo.de is this legit or junk mail please

Did you watch Futurama, the 4 part episode where Bender downloaded a virus? In that episode, the professor got an e-mail saying he won the lottery, and he mentioned that it's funny how he could have won the lottery even though he didn't have a ticket. He started giving out his private information, and eventually he signs over the lab. Well, that's the same thing. All those people are trying to do is get you to either forward money to them or give out your bank account info so they can withdraw all your money.

It's a scam. They will ask you for money. Tell them to take it out of your winnings. Don't send them any money.

well it could be our friends at yahoo pulling a april fools prank i know facebook did on me when they said i won $60,000 i was so excited....then i read happy april fools. i suggest following the links it will either bring you to a april fools thing or you actaully won (hoping you won) good luck on future lotteries :)
