  1. sounds like your using the wrong annodes for the water your in,sea water  and river water both need different annodes.check it out with a boat yard

  2. you might have an elec.short someware on the boat to check this disconnect the pos.ter.from the battery make sure every thing is off in the boat every light even check bulbs in glove box- shower -bilge pump-etc put a continuity tester from the loose pos. cable to the pos. term. on the battery if it lights up you have a short some where if you cant find it disconnect the battery when not in use but keep in mind the auto bilge pump will not work so check on it after it rains if you have an outboard motor unplug the elect. harness and unhook the shifter cable [so there is no metal connecting the motor to the boat] this will tell you if the short is in the engine or the boat

  3. Capt.Bob's got it. The only thing I would add is to look around the boat if you are at a public marina- some dingleberry with a shore power cord dangling in the water 2 boats over will  cause wicked induction, eating away at your hull.

  4. need to post more info type of boat  and size   and what is ment by  rapidly  yr or months  how much electronics  have you ever  done  leak test  etc  there is  lots of  suggestions   some only for  big boats with 110 and 12  volts  some for 220  and 24 or 32 v boats  some for  boats  with only  dc
