Yesterday, I was in a Car Accident. I did not see the victim and I crashed into him. He was around his Mid-40's or Early-50's or so. After we Crashed, he then had a broken neck (It didnt look fatal). The hospital took him away while I was in deep sadness to what I did.

Can he Sue me? How much would I get sued for?

  1. Sorry dude, but yeah, he can sue the c**p out of you.  If you're insured then the insurance company will pay the guy up to the maximum coverage limit.  You should look it up in your policy to see what it is.  If the guy sues for a million bucks and your insurance will only cover 250,000, then you're gonna have to cough up 750,000 bucks.

  2. Yes he can sue you if you were at fault but he will be suing your insurance company and once that is used up then if he wants more he will sue you personally and no one can give you how much but if you have the minimum insurance for your state he will go after that and anything after that will be up to his attorney...................................

  3. If you were at fault he can sue you.  If he has a broken neck I hope you have a lot of insurance.

  4. I depends if you were hurt and i doubt he will sue you because you were both involoved and if he does decide to do so,you can get your lawyer involved because it may of been his fault. If he does sue you it can be any amount depending on how bad the injury is.The worse the injury the more the fee.Good luck! x

  5. Your at fault and you have insurance and they pay for the tab and you get high risk insurance and you go to court for failure to control or a stop sigh violation or what ever the charge is! Well at least your apologetic and I hope you look before you leap next time and also get convex mirrors for you car at a auto store! They help when your changing lanes! You do have insurance? If not your screwed!

  6. if it was your fault, he certainly could sue you

  7. Teenagers and men in their early 20s are known to be unsafe drivers which could go against you. This man is eligible to sue you because you are the one who crashed into him. Fortunately, if you have insurance and you are sued due to this accident, they will pay much of the amount of money depending on the liability you chose when you signed up for your insurance policy. Also, get some advice from a lawyer on what to do.

    Good Luck.

  9. "Deep sadness" and your question a day later is about your money? -nice-

-I wonder if he'll walk again?

-I wonder how his family is going to cope?

-I wonder if he'll have to urinate through a tube for the rest of his life?

-I wonder if he'll be ok financially?

Just a few questions that are far more important.
