I am getting married in Korea to a korean women and i have 9 months in country and by the time it all finshes i will have 6 months left I was looking at trying to get command sponsership after i found out that I would end up paying for her plane ticket I don't have all that much money after we get done paying for her visa. My question is this how much time do we need to get command sponsered? I have have not been deployed so i can't stay here longer because i Have already AIPED. If i could get command sponsered it would help alot. Not to mention I am wondering if we need to get all her stuff payed off before we go because i have heard yes and ppl have told me no. Some people told me as long as she is paying her stuff regulay it is no problem. So any advic would help.

  1. You can always reenlist or ask for an extension to stay in Korea. Are you sure you can't AIP again for another year? Talk to your commander about how long it'd take to get command sponsored.

  2. Be careful who you marry there in Korea. Are you marrying a Filipino who works there? Because their jobs are entertainer meaning "PROSTITUTES" I'm in the Army and I know how a lot of soldiers are!
