Got my AS level results today, were not good ?

Question

I need CCC to apply to uni this year, however I got AS levels DDDD. From experience, when you apply to uni do you give them these results or predicted results for A level. I am going to retake to get my CCC in AS, but that is not until March 09. How will unis know I am trying to improve on my grades as I have to apply before the retakes, or do they care ? Will they just see the D's and chuck my application in the bin !

Please help, I am really worried

i got 2 Ds a C and a B in my AS results a few years ago but i needed 3 Bs. if ur resitting a subject u dont actually put down the grade u got, u put it in as 'pending 2009' so they know that are doing it again. i resat 1 of my Ds and the C so all they saw was a B and a D. i was able to get them up and got my 3 Bs to get into uni. im now going into my final year. dont worry about it. it will all work out!. remember ur personal statement is v important too xo

I applied to uni this year and they look at your as results but your teachers do a report with your predicted grades as well. They will also be aware you are resitting. Also make sure you work hard and the teachers know you are trying. I got BBB today in my A levels to get into uni! Its hard work but you can do it!
