Got my laptop hooked up to a 42"plasma screen.Its rather blury.Do I have to adjust it through the computer

  1. Possibly, but more likely you would be stuck with the quality that you see since the video card embedded in your laptop would not be optimized for a screen that large.  In order to maximize space on the motherboard, most laptop manufacturers would only use video card specs required for a screen no larger than about 17".


  2. Yes. If you have Windows right click on the desk top and go to properties, settings and try adjusting the screen resolution.

  3. Most likely, you are using an S cable. This will only transfer SD. Your desktop will be virtually unreadable.

    To get a good desktop on the TV, you need to use VGA, component, HDMI or DVI cables.
