Yeah.. if that's out of 2400 you basically bombed it. If that's out of the old scale of 1600 (Math and Critical Reading combined) than it's great, but I have a feeling you mean out of 2400.

Not terrible. Could be better. The average for public colleges these days is about 1500-1600, so you'll probably want to shoot for at least a 1500 unless your grades and extracurriculars are absolutely stellar.
