Got permission on private land for deer hunting in Michigan. I'm from out of state. What licenses is required?

Does Michigan require a hunters education class? I have a hunters education stamp from my home state, will that be valid in Mich. or do I actually have to attend the hunter ed course in Michigan?

go to michigan.gov look for the DNR pages for help getting non resident licences and permits

Oh... there is a "shotgun only" line that runs east to west, slightly north of the Lansing area (get a map...it zigzags) so bring the right guns.
