  1. Listen to TreeAlbero- she got it right- the daughter's first and getting rid of daughter's cat is not gonna win you any points.  I do not agree that it is weird for the girl to vist a beloved cat- I thinks its a very kind gesture on the part of the new owner.

  2. Um, no its right - she is feeling sorry for your daughter and she is letting her see her/him..

  3. This woman was being extremely kind to a very upset little girl and your b/f thinks this is weird. I think your b/f is weird and also very unfeeling. I think this just a lovely thing for that lady to do.

  4. Nope its not weird at all i go round and see a cat that went mising and i helped to find !!

  5. no not really, i think its actually quite sweet

  6. No this is a nice person who knew that a little girl was upset and took the time to reassure her. Tell your boyfriend that this is what decent people do.

  7. I think its weird that your bf thinks its weird, that lady is only trying to make your daughter feel better, what would it hurt to let your daughter check on her kitten every now and then, so she feels better about her being in a new home, I would not visit the kitten I think it would only upset your daughter further, but a phone call would be a nice thing for you to let your daughter do,

  8. I no longer speak with my mother for many reasons, including that she gave away my cat.

Pets aren't disposable.  But at least the animal is in a good home in this case.

Ask your daughter what she wants to do, and worry about her before you do a boyfriend's opinion.

  9. No, not really.  She probably isn't expecting your daughter to actually call.  She probably just wanted to make her feel better about the whole thing.

  10. not at all - why would it be?  She's just being nice to your wee girl.  h**l, sometimes people find friends in such situations!

  11. I think the lady feels bad that this little girl is losing her kitten and wanted to make her fell better.  No I don't thinks it is weird gesture but a kind one.
