Got rid of virus (I think) and now computer cannot read drives?

Question

I had a some ActivePro 2008 virus or something like that and I finally got rid of it, at least to my knowledge. Now if I want to burn a cd or connect my camera to my computer, nothing happens. The E:/ drive says that it cannot access function and as far as the camera, I connect it and nothing happens. When I go into the control panel and look at what is connected, nothing shows up. Can anyone help me please??? Thanks!

Happened to me b4.

The virus was running on your machine whiles using the process of the autoplay.

After deletion, it disabled that function.

i can help computers are dumb whene you got rid of it you deleated the drivers viruses have to save to some kind of file you have deleated the plug and play drivers you either have to find the right driver or do a backp and reinstall the os
