Got the rent service coming round?

to check if the amount of rent im paying is not too much.

will they need to look everywhere in the house i.e loft, wardrobes, cupboards etc? or just the basic rooms?

Hi

They are there to look at your property and facilities that you have, they will ask what is supplied for your rent, what the landlord has done to improve the property. They are not there to snoop in your wardrobe. Don't worry.

They have the right to look everywhere.  Sometimes they just peek in and leave. /

It's been a while since I needed them, but they usually just wander around your rooms with a clipboard. They don't need to open cupboards unless there's a Darwin door in them.

As for lofts, Health & Safety probably forbids them from going up ladders.
