I went to the beach the other day and I couldn't stop to think its enormous power. What if this ocean gushes in to the city? What if the whole pacific ocean rose up70,000 feet from ground to the sky and was on the verge of blanketing the earth? It’s like a ticking bomb waiting to explode. i was just sitting there thinking about it and got very scared to death. What is your take on this?

  1. Yikes, that is a scary thought.  I guess if it happens we have no control over it.  We will die.   I take comfort that I am a Christian and believe God will not end the earth this way.  He promised never to flood the entire earth again after Noah and the Ark.

  2. Well think it in this way "whatever have to happen will happen you can't stop it can u???? " and it not just the ocean that you should think , there are so many other things which you can take in this way for example while walking might be an car come and bumps into you n kills you. While eating you might choke n sooo one there is no need to worrie life ur life to the fullest we all r mortals one day we all r going doesn't really matter which day it is!!!

  3. Well , I don't think it could rise to 70,000 ft, but it will be rising.  With Global Warming, the Polar Ice Caps, glaciers, and Geenland ice sheet are melting much more rapidly than expected.  This will cause coastal flooding and inundate many of our major cities.  We will have to take action to stop pollution and slow the Climate Change in order to slow this down.

  4. i dont think thats possible.

    dont be scared

  5. You can get over it, now.  The earth is a sphere with an irregular surface with low spots and high spots.  The high spots are dry because the planet contains only a set amount of water.  There is not enough water for the oceans to rise suddenly above their present level.

There can be variations in sea level, but they happen slowly (like over hundreds or thousands of years), and they are predictable.

If you continue to be troubled by this thought, see a counselor, pastor, or therapist.

  6. scary, but impossible.

    too much al gore man

  7. you scared yourself

  8. Oh, come on! You're ALMIGHTY! You'll live! Lol.

But that's not going to happen, so you're cool.

  9. Maybe its time to build an ark?

May I suggest moving to the mountains?

  10. Dear Friend,

God did not give us the spirit of FEAR!  It comes from the enemy.  Of course there is the physical fear that we have when we cross the street and a car whizzes past by and nearly misses you.  But the fear you are talking about is not of God.  The enemy wants you to fear the "unknown."  That is why... with a personal relationship with our Creator, Jesus Christ we are "certain" of things to come and they will be for our benefit.

After all my friend, God has the whole universe under control.  We may not understand why certain things happen ...but rest assured, God's ways are not ours and His profound plan will make sense in the end.

God's Word is His "Instruction Manual" for us to live an abundant life.  It is His "Love Letter" to you, because...you can personalize it.

Trust the One who loves you more than life itself.  Jesus Christ.

  11. You do realize that is impossible, right? The ocean is not a ticking time bomb. You're getting your self worked up over your own imagination.

Maybe you need some anti-anxiety meds.
