Goth stores in New York City?

Question

I'm headed out to NYC, NY on the 18th--22nd and I want to go to some gothic stores. I'm really interested in the style, particularly platform boots 6-8in tall. Anyone have any ideas? Please don't tell me to just look online because I have a friend that went to NYC a lot before and said theres a lot (just doesn't remember the names or locations) and I don't really want to do online shopping.... >_>;;
