The Borussia Dortmund midfielder has insisted that he wants to take a complete break from the game after being ruled out for up to eight weeks.
Mario Gotze has been ruled out for up to two months after suffering from a groin injury during the winter break. The player is diagnosed with a fracture on his pubic bone and has been told by the club doctor not to train in order
to quicken the process of rehabilitation.
The midfielder admitted that a break for the next few weeks would be best for him. He stated that he is disappointed on missing out the next eight weeks with his side and is targeting a return to action after a quick recovery.
The player added that he will start training after spending two weeks with his family to get some peace of mind.
“Maybe it would be best if I take a complete break. Maybe I will fly off to get some sunshine. To be told that I am going to miss eight weeks has really got me down. But life must go on. I really need to have two weeks of peace
and quiet now,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
Gotze further added that he German national team manager Joachim Low has also talked to him and has assured him a place in the side when he completes his rehabilitation process. He admitted that he is keen on returning to playing
ways and is aiming to achieve full fitness in order to help his side to the Bundesliga title.

Borussia Dortmund will be without Mario Gotze in the matches against Hoffenheim, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/1-FSV-Mainz-05-c38166. The player will be back in training in the end of February and will possibly
return to action in March when the league will be nearing its end.
The inspirational midfielder has scored an impressive six goals and has accumulated eight assists so far this season in the 22 appearances made.
