Question:

Government Assistance?

I owe Saint Louis University $450. I'm currently struggling financially, but I know that I need to get back into school. This money isn't from loans...it was the balance left over after all of my grants/scholarships were applied to my account back in 2005.

Does anybody know of any grants or anything from the government that will allow me to pay that debt off in order for them to release my transcripts to another school so that I can further my education? I'm a resident of Belleville, IL but I work in St. Louis, MO...and my place of employment offers tuition remission. However, in order for me to receive it, I have to be accepted to the school. I (of course) have to have my transcripts from SLU to do this.

**Don't know if it will help, but I didn't even finish a full semester...I had a lot of family problems and had to leave in order to get a full time job.

  1. In the grand scheme of thing, 450 isn't THAT much money.  Start sending them money every paycheck until the balance is paid so they will release your transcripts.
