  1. Our government does not do enough public education on prime televisions.  Americans should be educated to lose weight to save fuel cost.  Just think about it, the average American adult male probably weights about 50 to 100 lb. more than Asians.  On a plane with 300 people, that's an extra 15000 at least.  If you total up all the planes that fly around in just the US.  It's a lot of fuel and pollution.

We, as Americans need to lost weight and be thin to conserve energy and pollution.  Extra weight is bad for everything like the sewer system, health insurance premium, life insurance premium, and also the health of our children.

  2. they aren't doing anything because they can afford or put gas bills on an expense account. you and me are the one's who pay the bill. So they don't really look into how we can get a break.

for myself i drive a chevrolet aveo 07 and now i am looking for another vehicle that i can pimp out when I want. but the aveo is a life saver especially for someone like me who drives a lot for my own business. And there's a thought, start your own small business(its easy to do) for under 500 dollars and right off the miles, insurance and gas bill, if they can do it why can't we.

  3. The government gives subsidies for the first so many hybrid cars sold.  They will give a subsidy for something like the first 50,000 hybrid cars of that model sold.  This means that popular cars like the prius no longer get this subsidy.

The government has also just upped the CAFE gas mileage standards.  Starting in 2020 each car manufacturer has to average 35 mpg.  This means that they will average the gas mileage of all of their cars and light trucks and that average must be 35 mpg or more.

The government also spends millions of dollars subsidising alternative fuels like ethanol and gives away millions more in grants to research alternative fuels.
