  1. Abraham Lincoln hit the nail on the head, and controlling all people on this planet is the governments main goal. As well as reducing worldly population.

  2. Though this smacks of homework, I will answer according to my understanding.  Hopeful that you are in interested in knowledge (in addition to your grade), I have some extra references.

    1. Evolutionary theory has nothing to do with the state.  It should be noted that the other "theories" are rationalization for the morality of the state.  They do nothing to provide insight into the origin of the state.  For an interesting commentary on possible origins of the state, see this article [1].

    2. John Locke's writings were influential upon the colonists at the time of the Revolution.  Among his key principles were statements that every man has a natural right to "life, liberty and property".  It was upon these natural rights that the Declaration of Independence coined "alienable rights" to "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness".

    3. I'm afraid that I'm at a loss on this one.  For some commentary on government, see this [2].

  3. Cant help with all but here is what i got.    The social contract theory has to be one of my favorites and is defiantly a theory everyone should not only believe in but also practice. It basically states that in short everyone when they are born is entered into a contract that will uphold society's laws, in my opinion it is kind of like the ten commandments but for government and not church.
