Government issued ids?

i have an id given to me by my high school. it has my name on it and a picture of myself and i was wondering whether or not that would qualify as being a government issued id. it was issued by my school, which is apart of the government. i need an id so i can fly out to colorado, so yeah...

Actually no your school ID is not a government issued ID.Government issue would be from the state or federal level.Drivers license,birth certificate,passport are government issued ID's.
