Government jobs: Anyone ever have trouble getting re-instated?

after being unjustly fired from a State employee job?

I'm a mental health nurse and was accused of assaulting someone. The State Personnel Board is taking way to long to come up with a decision for my case. The judge said it would be in early May of this year. It never came.

As crummy as it may be, you'll probably have to wait for the results of the review board.  Unfortunately I've never heard of a government review being completed in a timely manner.  I guess just keep pestering them for updates to avoid having your file swept under a rug somewhere.
