I prefer the name Grace as a first name rather than a middle name because it's often just a "filler" middle name - even though it's so lovely, lovely enough to be used as a first name.

I think of Grace's to be shy at first in front of strangers, but also confident, and lots of fun to be around when you get to know them.  I also think of Grace's to be very academic and intelligent and quite good at a music instrument - ie violin or piano, and quite good at ballet!!

My given names are Alexandria Grace. When my mother had to choose a name for me she loved them both, but couldn't decide. She now says to me that she wishes she named me Grace Alexandria, because then my name wouldn't be abbreviated to Alex. I like my name thugh :-) It's a bit different to what other people have suggested. Good luck though and congrats! :-)

Grace as a middle name is so overused, but Grace as a first name is refreshing and unexpected. I love it!

Try to choose a middle name that isn't commonly used as a middle name (like Marie, Renee, Louise, etc.) Are there any family members you'd like to honour? That could be a start.

With a name like Grace, you'll probably want to avoid middle names that start with an S- sound or repeat the long A sound too much, as well as middle names that are one syllable. They won't flow very nicely. However, names longer than two syllables that end with a flowy -a sound will probably fit well.
