  3. When i went to a rugby dinner, this is what i was asked to say...

"The grace of our lord jesus christ, the love of God and the fellowship of our hollyspirt, be with us all ever more...Amen"

Hope this answered your qustion...Good Luck x x

  4. it depends if there's anyone religous there. Some clubs have a team chaplin, who will say grace. It is customary to toast Ray Gravell before the meal though.

  5. rub a dub dub

    thanks for the grub

  6. The good ol Catholic one is good

'Bless us Lord for these thy gifts we are about to receive, through they Bounty, through Christ our Lord......Amen'

  7. A hearty round of "Jesus can't play rugby" won't do, huh?  I guess it depends on the types of guys you're around... it won't kill anyone to have a grace... you could do it as a general thank you to a higher being for the camaraderie, friendships, success in the season, escape of injury...  just keep it short and simple... And remember that Mary can't play rugby cause she hasnt touched a ball!  :-)
